Default Car acting up?

Well here it goes again the motor in this thing has only got 1300 miles on it and it has given me nothing but trouble. I even had it dyno tuned and the thing is still not right, It has been running pretty good but for the last 2-3 days it is missing and surging like crazy. I am completely stumped on this thing any ideas would be helpful. It seems to make alot of noise by the opti but it was just replaced with a new one and it has made the noise sense it was replaced but the opti before did not make this noise.

I replaced it with one from summit but it was a AC Delco part not the summit brand one. But it did look like it had been used. The car runs good over 3000 rpms it is really fast but the guy at the dyno said either the opti is going out or I was getting valve float. I was thinking it was valve float becuase the dyno graph was really jumpy up top and all my problems are down low like at idle in gear and under very light throttle pressure.

O yeah when it is at idle in gear the rpms are hunting they won't stay steady I know the cam will play a roll in that but the cars rpms should not vary that much any where from 750-1200.

Well I think I have found the problem. I think it was my brand spanken new MSD plug wires that are arcing. I will repost to update when I fix the problem with some quality plug wires(NOT MSD)!!!!!

No not melted or crack or split. I spent 2 hours at a friends lift to make sure nothing was touching. It is wierd they only arc across when it is started or with low rpm load, like when you want to stall up the converter. Unless they are arcing all the time and I just can't see all of it. Thanks
