Default Any LT1/4 owners running a Gen 7 in here??

Just curious if anyone has a Gen 7 on their LT1/4s. I had a few tuning questions just wanted something else to compare with. Been doing my own tuning on my car although not a f-body, a 93 corvette w/ a built 388ci LT4.

ya I hear the xfi is great. I did purchase the gen 7 a few years back when it just came out, it just took 4 1/2 years to finish the project. One reason we went with it is because of the dual sync distributor for a cam/crank trigger. This way with the removed Opti (stock ecu and wiring all removed) we still could run the ecu in sequential mode. I could have just gone with a magnetic pickup but I didn't know much about it back then.

You guys will love the Gen 7 though. I had nightmares using it to learn to tune my car but I've learned so so much over the last few months and its getting easier and easier. I just wish Accel tech (Mike and AL who spend hours with me sometimes on the phone) could hav told me differently on how to get the VE tables set. It was tough going on the highway and topping out rth gear (275 km/hr or so) and trying to hit autocal all the way through

Taner did you ever use the gen7 or just the 6 ? I actually bought 6 first and sold it when I saw the gen7 and the new software etc. The Gen6 was downright prehistoric in comparison. I'm sure even with the XFi theres a setting for target injctor timing or something along those lines, I was just curious what type of heads/cam etc (if you dont mind sharing - don't need exact details) and what # in degrees you are using. I'm finding alot of people wiht the Gen7 don't even know what # to use.

I am using the XFI as well. It is very nice. I have never tried the Gen 7. I think it is pretty good also.

I'm going XFI next year. Still want to find some decent air one time before I change it over. I would like to go to the GMHTP race, if they would move it to Atco. I can't see building an exhaust system for one day. May still do it, but probably not. 95db. Damn!
