Go to summit.com and they have a bunch of cut outs. One with wing nuts, one with a lever that you pull, and the best but the most expensive are the electronic cut outs. My friend has them on his 94 z and he loves them.

This is where my cutout is located on my catback. Theres a spot right behind the passengers seat that makes a great location for a cutout.

I have a cutout right behind each of my LTs. sounds great really opens up the engine. Nothing like uncorking the headers and blowing the minds out of a bunch of ricers

for the manual-opening cutouts, isn't it kind of a hassle to reach under there and open them up, tho?

I had that as well but it scared the ricers and attracted the cops! hell with the single cutout i have now attracts cops all the time.

Some people don't mind placing a jack underneath the car and un bolting the cutout.. me on the other hand i love being able to open it and close it when i choose.

DMH sells a dual kit... its still quite a bit more money, but its not as much as it would be to buy two e-cutouts. they come with a 4 year warranty too.

YEA but BUFFMAN your like me with our big boats its easy to take out the wingnuts. I even made some stainless steel
caps for mine at work on one of our laths. Easy off easy on. And much cheaper and more reliable.

wing nuts? i dont **** with wing nuts. They come loose too easy. With Dan's hookups with dumps the bolts are not welded to the cutout. I need to get around to welding them on.

I dont have e-cutouts, I get underthere when I want to be loud, I dont think its a hassle, take just a couple seconds, but I want some e-cutouts BAD.
I think it would be nice to be all loud and as soon as a cop comes around just close them and act dumb.

How do those DHMs compare to say a QTP?

BUFFMAN
I don't use them either. Threw them away when the cutouts came in. Use 3/8 nuts and lock washers. Never KNOCK ON WOOD have had them come loose or blown out a gasket YET!!! Oh and my bolts are welded to the cutouts. 3/8 drive ratchet and 9/16 socket and is about 2 minutes or less I am pissing off the cops.

How is that so? We have over 20,000 QTECs out in the market place. Summit racing just placed a 1500 piece order with us. And if i saw correclty Summit is dropping DMH. I wonder why?

As always, check local laws and make sure you don't get nailed for having your exhaust exiting before the rear axle... cause they will do it.
