Default LT1 forged?..

Like the title says, does anyone know where i can buy a forged bottom end, and keep the same c.i. and everything. I want to do a forged bottom end but with out stroking it or anything. Just buy it all and rip my car apart and put it back together with everything in it new on bottom end.. Car is a 1997 LT1 camaro...

http://www.dyno-flo.com/rotating-assemblies.html

Some of the best LT1 Forged Kits in the business.
The Stroke depends on the crank.

you can basically get any small block kit with a 2-piece rear main seal and it works. theres not specific to the lt1 that calls for different internals than any other of small block. eagle makes probably the best crank for you, i would got manley h-beam rods(to save weight on the rotating assembly), and you choice of pistons depending on what compression ratio youre looking for. for the guy with the turbo i guess you know that you your compression ratio is going to need to be lower. im not completely sure but im thinking you need to be around 7.5 to 8.5:1. someone correct me if im wrong

wrong, the crank HAS to be 1 piece rear main.

The dyno-flo are good kits but I noticed that the crank wasnt forged. I know someone makes a forged crank in 3.48 stroke with a 1-piece rear main seal. I bought one off ebay about a week ago.

You can use the 2piece on the 1piece onæy with an adapter for the second seal

but I don't know a place wgo sells them

7.5 cp is low as hell,8,5 is much better if your going to drive it on the street

yeah, but the one guy is turbo'd. Can't run a ton of boost at 10.5:1.

the best thing for you $$$ wise is to call John @ CNC-motorsports.com and he will hook you up with everything you need, A friend just purchased his LT1 bottom end from them down the the rings and bearings for 1100(all forged)
