A friend has a Cowl that we are goin to see if it will fit on it, that's what will be needed to cover it up. I got it to look semi-decent the way it currently is. People look at it, and are like that thing isn't factory. I have to cover it up, so that way it's not too obvious.

I might take some photos of the CAI this weekend (for those wanting some..). I however, am not sure this Mod is worth the hastle for stock or near stock Lt1's (except if you like the cleanliness). I only did it to feed my 401. I'm trying to eek out just a little bit more out of my Hyd Roller cammed Auto combo. I'm hoping to see 460 SAE (LS1 CAI and 85mm MAF) instead of 448 (Moroso CAI and stock Maf). It does seem to pull harder up in the higher rpm's but I have to wait until it's dynoed for the proof.

I admit, it's not factory looking, but I didn't leave it bare metal, I covered the edges up. It works. I am trying to figure out where some of you guys get them solid bellows. Are they just a piece of rubber tubing?
I'm intrigued that that you decided to cut a hole in the hood for it but it is definitely different. I will say, with that look, lose the factory airbox with the old sticker residue and get you a nice carbon fiber lid or even a clear lid if you are going to be showing it off.
