Delete Trac control
Has anyone ever deleted there traction control. I was just wondering because i really dont want to put that ugly looking thing back on top of my valve cover after rebuild. Also if so is there a write up or anything or would I just have to have the comp flashed and get a throttle cable from 1 that doesnt have it.

With the SJM kit, yes. ABS and TCS go byebye.
To delete just TCS and keep ABS functional would be a nightmare. The TCS can be deleted in LT1edit or Tunercats. But because you have TCS, your ABS setup and BCM/wiring is different. To do it correctly you'd have to replace or mod the harness for it, replace the BCM, and modify your brake lines along with the appropriate changes in your edit software.
I researched this topic for a while, then decided it would be cheaper/easier/less of a nightmare to just buy the SJM kit and delete the whole thing. The hardest part was getting the cluster out without breaking anything to remove the ABS and TCS lights...
The line lock is nice for doing big smokey burnouts, the proportioning valve is nice for adjusting front to rear brake bias.

I've "heard" but dont know for sure(can't find the thread) that if you cut the two wires coming out of the TCS servo and twist/crimp/solder them together, then you will still have abs. If you want to try it, cut the wires, twist em together, and see if it works, if it did, start ripping everything out, and if it doesn't, untwist the wires, and use crimps to put them back, or just rip everything out and live without abs, worth a shot...
Heres another thread, which seems like the hard way.

I did end up ditching the ABS also, cleans up the driver's side pretty nicely. So happy to have that stupid button and mechanism removed from the engine bay.

You need the SMJ line lock/abs delete kit.
I smoothed out the center console:

Does this kit come with an extension or a new throttle cable. or diid you have to get 1, do you have a pic of how your throttle able is set-up.
