Default LT1 LS1 Airlid Conversion

well i did this on my car this weekend and i was thinking of making a whole kit with everything needed including the lid(stock w/plastic cut out and polished or a performance one)/bellows/new custom radiator holder painted black or whatever color wanted/picture instructions/and a template on where and how much to cut the radiator top and the bottom sheeting of the tip of the hood...would anyone be interested in this? im not going to go into the process of starting to buy lids and bellows and then not sell these so please put your input in so i can figure this out...i do not have a price as of now i need to research a bit more

SO..the main question is would you buy one? think about it? how much would you expect to pay for a 25Hp diff?(usually what i have seen on a STOCK motor changed over to the ls1 lid)

25hp compared to the stock LT1 intake? Even that is hard to believe. I'm happy with my cold air, although some LS1 intake swaps look pretty good

this is a stock hood?

Any #'s? I think a CAI is probably better than a Airlid.

I'm positive it doesn't add 25hp but alot of people say that they see a difference at the track

I like it more for looks though.

for all those who say 25hp is possible. youre wrong. no **** youre not gonna see 25hp difference with a stock motor. just like youre not going to see 10hp difference with a cai. but if you have a heavily modded motor(h/c/i cars with larger throttle bodies) you can definitely expect to see a difference from cai to lid. i would do it minus the stock lid. i would want to purchase an aftermarket lid.

Proof. Before and after dyno runs, same vehicle each time, same DA.
Minimum 3 cars that behave the same.

Pics. I have NO interest in hacked looking stuff on my car.

Pics, description: I want to know how much I have to remove from MY vehicle to make a 'kit' like this work. I'll tell you, I'm NOT gonna cut my hood.

id be interested in just the hoses and things necessary to do something like this:

assuming that style of air cleaner will fit under an LT1 hood.

I've been interested in the conversion/mod for a while. My decision would be based on

1) amount of cutting/bending involved
2) how it looks finished
3) price...

And in that order. I think you have a great idea here but I also think people will be very particular about how it looks/blends if your asking them to cut/chop things.
