Ticking Under Valve Covers..... Since Ive Had The Car Its Always had A Little Ticking Under The Valve Covers ....Valves Rocker Arms Whatever It is But Anyways Is It bad And Should I Get It Chcked Out Or Is It Normal For A Car With Over 100K Miles On It To Tick?.....I Run 91 Or Higher If I Can Find It And I Also Have Royal Purple 10-20 Oil In It I Change It Every 3K Miles

could just be your lifters or whatever. everything makes noise in these and the same goes with the LS1. you can hear injectors and **** as well.
And P.S....unless ur writin a ****** book, Kill The Caps On Every Damn Word.

Ive Done Rockers On My Novas But Im not Sure if I Wanna Mess With These So if I Wanna Make It Perfect How Much Do You Think It Would Be To Have The Car taken To a place To get Them Perfect Again?

I agree, kill the caps. Looks uneducated and hard to read.
Probably rocker tick. Make sure you have enough oil in the engine, and getting good oil pressure.

hard to read? Are you uneducated?
As for the ticking...it sounds like the "problem" i had, however, i remedied the problem by going with AFR heads and a new motor. I think you might be looking at a rocker and or spring issue though, perhaps have the checked out.

To rule it out, how do you know the noise is coming from under the valve cover? Best way to make sure, while not an exact science, is to put a screwdriver to your ear (hand side) and to the valve cover. It'll help locate the tick. It could just be your injectors though, since they do tick themselves.

With my cam and LT-4 valve springs, I'm constantly having to tighting my rockers. One trick is to re-ping the nuts if you are having trouble with them backing off. The most simple way to do it is to purchase some of those clips that plug the oil hole where the push rod meets the rocker. Take both valve covers off, install the clips, and crank the motor. Go to each lifter and tighten it so that it makes the idle rough then back off a 1/4 turn or more. Something I do, before I remove the valve covers is use a stethiscope (spelling?) and make notes of which lifters are louder than others that way I know a little better how much to tighten......
