only took me about 6 hrs on my 94 z, i took off the valve covers, un bolted the steering knuckle, and took the pass side motor mount bolt out to raise the engine a lil bit and put them in from the top. My car also had no a/c or a.i.r sh#t in the way. We just put a set on my dads 95 from under while the tranny was out and it wasnt that bad. 5-6 hrs. But plug wires SUCK

^^^ yea, my install went something like approx 6 hours to just get the old exhaust off (damn header bolts), it does help to have a sawzall and give no mercy to the old pipes. With the new exhaust the most time consuming part was just getting the pipes in the back alligned properly. So total install approx 12 hours

took me two weeks.
I got the old exhaust off in a couple of hours, but Jegs took forever to get me my stage 8 bolts. Had everything except for the bolts, I forgot to get them, hahaha.
To put them back on wasnt so much of a pain, I installed both from underneath. The pain was getting the spark plugs in and the boots on them.

OH **** that sounds bad, i bought mine from jegs to, and they sent me a bunch of bolts, and stuff to extend the 02 sensors. I got instructions on how to install the headers and how to extend the sensors. So if its my first time to do it i will probly take a couple days. I have to get gaskets though they didnt send me those.

The key is having a stubby 7/16ths box end wrench for header bolts on passenger side.
Also spray the exhaust bolts the night before with penetrating lube.
I just discovered the hard way that you have to loosen the middle bolts first when taking off your header. (i was changing a gasket) It seems that the rearmost passenger bolt backed out till it hit the header pipe and then spun in place, stripping the threads.
Driver side is easy, and passenger side left me little room for the back bolts.
Go with a quality gasket, like felpro or mr gasket.
( I also might not be a bad idea to get some blue locktight for the bolts.) It seems the locktight helps from backing out. God knows you dont want to do it again.) The make a locktight stick now that works like a chap stick that is more pasty. This aids in sticking to the bolts before you put them in.

ok i'll try that im going to order some cheap dynomax mufflers to bolt on there untill i can get the borlas. Im going to try to do it sometime next week, probly next weekend.

Yea you will need to make some tools "special" like grinding down a box end wrench to get the bolts on, make a spark plug socket shorter to get to the two rear plugs. and some others that Im forgetting
Trust me these "specialty tools" will make it so much easier, it wasnt so bad to install, if I had all my parts there it would have been a day long thing.

Took me like 10 min. Bolted them on when the Engine was on the K-member. Best way to change Plugs for me is with a 3/4 Wrench and my Plug Socket. Takes 30 min for a complete change. That lower Bracket on the Alternator has to be a little custom fit on the passenger side end bolt.

Dont quite remember the exact amount of time,... It didn't take long at all though. Maybe 30min removing the old exhaust, and 30min bolting up the headers... Only shitty part for me was that the TSP X-pipe I got was a LS1 style so, I have to drive open headers to an exhaust shop where they made one simple piece to make it work on my LT1.... That trip and wait was about 3-4 hours.
