Yes, it unclips right at the sensor in the pan. Look closely, might have to clean it off with something and use a little flat tip to pry (gently). Sorry I dont have an explanation "HOW" but, my buddy unhooked mine and I just plugged the new one in and didn't pay any attention.

Mine looks like this one, there isn't a little hooking tab.
Notice on this pic/link the oil level sensor pigtail does have a little locking tab.

So I want to unhook it. I guess I'll look closer but if anyone knows what I'm talking about talk me through it.
And I know this is an old *** thread, I was searching and thought I'd continue the thread, instead of starting my own.

You have to take a flat head screw driver. It is a little of a pain. But int he pic off shoe's site you have there. See towards the front of the car how it looks like a slot in front of it? That is where the clip is. It is down inside the sensor. Why I don't know. But if you look you will see what i mean. Take flat head and put behind the clip and pul out. While pulling on the wires.
Edit: Also that pic isn't the oil sensor wires you posted this is. http://shbox.com/1/harness8.jpg

the reason they shroud the clip on harness with the sensor is for two reason, one it helps to keep water from getting into it on those rainydays, and two it allows them to keep as low profile as possible and still be able to use a wrench on it. not a bad design, but yes, a bit of a pain.
