How old are you man? You sound prety young, dont mean this in a bad way but find other motivations to keep you going in life. Cars are just a hobby thats a pasion for a lot of people, including my self, but theres a lot bigger things out there in life. Cars defnatley wont make you happy with life, learned that from experience, as I got older I saw that.

I am 18. I know what you are thinking. Dumb Kid. This i may or may not be, but i ensure you cars are not my life. I have many other joys, and worries in my life. More than an 18 year old should have. The best way for me to look at it is that cars are one of the few innocent, almost completly controlable things in life that i enjoy. Other people travel, cook, whatever, i dont care. I have done alot in 18 years and cars are right up there coming in after my family, girlfriend and friends that provide an almost unequal fulfilment of feelings. Hobbies are one of the things that make life life. I try not to forget that, or the others.
Anywho whatever, i got alittle caught up in the moment when i typed that, what can i say, just dont assume and try to give life lessons to a person you dont know. Most of the time your wrong. This time you are.

thanks man.... engine is getting paid for in about a month, with the leftover money i can pick up the small remaining things I need to square away. I hope to have it done for the spring when the racing season starts.... may would be awesome to have it making nitrous passes assuming I get about a month of seat time running just NA getting used to the car again. can't immediately start running ***** out until i get used to driving her again. it'd be suicide

Edit: RedRyder518 personally I think your car looks like absolute ...
...not really it's actually the cleanest lt1 f body I've ever seen

I love my 97 Trans Am. Even with 160,000 miles on it, the LT1 is a great motor. The last Trans Am I owned was an 89 20th Anniversary (turbo V6), and I think this thing would have given that car a run for it's money (both being bone stock......as an old fart, the way GM made these things is plenty fast for me! )

I appologize to all the latino and or hispanic people out there I may have offended with my comments. As LT1man explained, I guess it just had to do with location. In my home town of Lexington, NC; hispanics have basicly taken over the city it seems. Jobs have left due to the illegals, mostly, that come in and do the job for the half the price. I don't want to get into the political BS that is associated with all of this, because that is not what this thread is about.
Once again, I am sorry.
Amazing cars guys! I hope that one day I will have the time and money to make the Z the way I want it...
Hopefully I will have some pics up soon of my new berger and stainless inserts...

I was happy to find my low mile Formula in 05. Bought it with 29,995 miles for 9k. Now has just a bit over 32,2xx miles. Original paint with some small rock chips in the front, but nothing major. I'll have the front repainted when I get a ramair hood. I'm not the fastest LT1 in my town, but I do plan on making it more competative.

I know of a ton of F-bodies, just limited to 10 second or below lt1's. Check out www.need2speed.com, it's all right for a local site and TONS of F-bodies.

Don't worry Neil, Austin is going to have it's share of fast-*** LT1's running around soon.
We've currently got Chopstix (Ray) and Tony Shepard.
Soon my car will be back up with a brand new 396 from Port Pros. Kyle McKenzie is starting a '95 Formula build and Scott Mazoch is slowly making progress on his black '94 Z28.

Hey Hey, watch out, Christine is lurking around the corner
