I just took a dremel cutting wheel to the supports.. called it good. Just be sure to clean out any shavings. Most people bend the supports, but I just eliminated them. No problems.

i just recently purchased some com p cam 1.6 nsa rockers and some guideplates as well as hardened stock length pushrods, what is the process of the install? Ill be doing my cam swap as well so all the info i can get would be greatly appreciated.

Now, the question is, does anyone have anything negative to say about this deal?
Are there better deals out there I haven't found? Where are there deals on springs? What is the meaning of life?
In a semi-related vein, I read somewhere recently that stock rocker studs may not have enough threaded length to clamp guide plates under their heads. Anyone want to weigh in on this? The rebuilt heads I recently got from ebay have what appear to be new rocker studs and I have to admit they don't have a great deal of thread length under the hex. I'd be concerned about guide plates taking away some of that thread length.
Nothing is ever simple, is it?
