I cant figure it out!!
I can smell gas when it idles and the idle surges about 300rpms just sitting still. Today when i took it out its starting to break up slightly throught the powerband and has powerloss. Im lost as of right now. Im thinking maybe the opti got wet, or maybe the opti dowel pin was too long and grenaded the opti. My uncle thinks it may be a bent push rod but there is no different valve terrain noise.
What do you guys think...i need to figure it out this week.
The vacuum port for the EGR is now hooked up to the vented opti (since i did the conversion). I even plugged the vacuum port for the HVAC and put new line for the FPR so i dont think its a vaccum problem. Im thinking its either and Ignition problem or a fuel issue. It's weird how it started out of no where. The plugs have a slight white residue on them but they still look good. Im lost!
