i figure it would, my 93 LT1, a4, 3.23, runs 8.70s and it is completely stock, never had more than the valve covers off, except it has flowmasters with custom exhaust wich isnt worth a heck of a lot, especially with stock manifolds, but its in a falcon witch is a little lighter but still i think with if i put headers, 150 shot, gears and converter in it, i would feel pretty confident i would be in the high 7s, but u could get better advice from someone with a camaro or ta body, just tryin to be helpful

You can do 7.90s with bolt ons, gears and a stall with sticky tire OR you can go 7.50s with spray, stall, gears, and sticky tire. It would be simpler to go with option B, but why not do bolt ons and spray and run high 6s and not have to worry about just beating stock '03-up cobras? You can destroy stock ones and make the modded ones wish they'd bought a $2500 LT1 instead of a $30K already supercharged cobra.

all this really does depend on how good the car runs stock... if the motor is wore out then its not gonna do what you want... if its in good shape, then itll do what your looking for. Lt1s LOVE some nitrous though
