Like said earlier, right out of the hole you might do ok, but that LS1 will be up your *** quick, so you better get out of the hole real quick. Just FYI...the two cars in my sig...the 94 would stay door to door with the 99 until about 70-80mph and the LS1 starts to breath deep and the LT1 is like a smoker at a track meet.

 

I just noticed the spray...are you gonna be spraying? That will change everything...

 

hhaha no spray, yeah i know i smoked a few lt1's with my ls1 cars, i guess its my payback lol!, i know ill be out of the hole first, im gna have some good traction

 

Good luck....the LT1 vs LS1 races are always fun...everyone knows witch way the table leans, but its still fun. Its a game of trying to put a solid lead on out of the hole. Because its not IF..but WHEN the LS1 will be beside you again.

Full exhaust on a stock ls1 will help him huge. If you can pull him hard out of the hole, you might still hold him at the eighth. He will definitely be reeling you in at this point though, ls1 with full exhaust will pull hard on a stock lt1 up top.

 

I've taken down 6 speed LS1's from a dig with just a full exhaust and CAI.

 

well we got 5 inches of snow today =[ i guess the race is delayed until friday

 

full exhaust and CAI should make you trap the same if not more than a stock A4...with rockers you should trap pretty close to an M6 LS1. Driver mod is key

the roads are so salty still we can even take off slow, so ill let u know soon, we are supposed to get more snow this week so maybe in the next few days we'll get it.

 

It's going to be kinda stupid racing in the cold. The outcome isn't going to be accurate since both of you should be spinning alot. It's freezing here and a GTO pulled next to me wanting to race. It was pretty gay not getting traction.

 

Yea, it got cold here also. We got some ice last night, I put the camaro up in my Garage until this clears out.

 

yeah i know, its supposed to snow again i think, im just gna wait a little bit and see what happens..or hell maybe we'll just do it for fun now and again when it gets better
