Maybe half to 3/4 of a day.
How good are you with tools? The most time-consuming part will be changing the Springs and crap.

You could do it in a weekend if you had a buddy with you that's done it before.

I've rebuilt an engine inside of a day, but I suck at EFI ****.

Also I really need to learn how to do timing, and locking down rocker arms right.

One weekend will be enough time if everything goes smoothly. It is a good idea to plan on a couple extra day's just in case of problems though.

IF i were to get this kit and say switch to a diffrent cam more suitable for a turbo setup would it benefit much or would it better just to get a suitable cam without the rest of the stuff. Im goin to get ported heads for my lt1 this summer but might look into something like this since it would be relitively cheap instead of having a shop do a H/C package

Here is mine -- Hot Cam Idle Clip

Untuned on motor with full exhaust, intake, lt4 hot cam kit, and a 3000 stall I was running 12.8s with a 1.9 60'.

I'm getting dynotuned tomorrow by Jeremy Formato -- I'll put some numbers up on and off the bottle
