before that

headers - ypipe - exhaust - 15-20 hp

intake 5-10 hp

electric wp 5-8 hp

1.6 RR - 5-8 hp

underdrive pulley - dunno how much hp exactly not much

Get rid of all emissions, AIR/EVAP

then go heads/cam make sure to get your intake port matched then with that (if LE2) get a 52mm TB or a 58mm TB will give you 5-10 more hp

Are you using Painted Shorties and a Flowmaster Exhaust as an example?
You get damn near 15-20hp/25-30tq, just from mids or LT's.

Exactely the way i went. I spent my money in the rear with gears, driveshaft, suspension, flt build trans, 3200 vig converter and basically nothing with the motor besides typical bolt-ons, longtubes, rockers. And with all that said, outruns my buddys "omg its a ls1", lol.
