Default Ford 9" Rear

I know there is a couple of guys in here..I am looking at one of these from Moser to go into my 95 Z, I have seen a few people with this, and it is pretty reasonably priced. What all did you guys get to make it work? I plan on getting the Housing and Axles, and getting a Ford 9" Auburn Pro Series Posi Differential, and then 3.73's. Summit sells Gears for Ford, but it says for 8.8", are these the same? Also, what Pinion Yoke do I need if I go with this setup. If I need to know anything else, throw it in.
Thanks.

You won't be able to use ABS as there is no ring or pickup available for the FOMOCO 9 inch.

I am not really worried about it, I already have the front ABS gone. Has anyone got a way to delete the ABS Module and put a little splitter in there, or is it just less work to keep it in there and functioning.

not sure how much you are looking to spend but I got mine from Scott@driveline-solutions. hes a vendor on the board. he sells a budget 9" with the center section assembled and everything else loose. 31 spline axles, 4.11s, and true-trac posi for just under 2000 shipped. With the upgraded driveshaft and yokes I believe it was around 2400. Awesome guy to deal with as well.

The 8.8 is a different rear end. You need gears for a 9"

I have a Moser 9" under my car and here's what i ordered. it's been under the car for about 8 years and I've NEVER had a problem with it..... You have to order gears for a 9" and not for an 8.8" rear.... Two different rears. Moser should be able to hook you up with the whole package like they did for me. They'll send you everything.

I got the Moser 9" with backbrace, stock length axle tubes for 4th gen f-body, all suspension brackets for 4th gen f-body, nodular iron case, Richmond 3.89 gears, billet pinion support, 35 spline axles, detroit locker and a 1350 spicer yoke for the front..... I got timken axle bearings also. supposedly the best... They should send it with all the bearings and seals you need as well...

Think mine came to like 2200-2300 shipped...

I plan on just getting the Ford 9" Housing and Axles to fit my Camaro, and then I got a Posi from a different place to drop in, as well as the Gears. I got it all priced at about $1800.

And i know there even cheaper if you order them with a spool also. But i hear they rob a decent amount of power also. Correct me if im wrong.
