I told you to call NX OR STS!!!! and ask about BOTTLEFED. I never said I had a STS. I dont like STS.

because I love my NX kit. and I make more hp with NX than if I was to put a sts on my car I like tq and sts dont make it

wow.... if you people are going to bicker back and forth, at least don't double post.


someone already said, but i will say it anyways. don't forget all the small supporting mods. the power claims made by the heads/cams/SC are usually on full bolt on cars.

what exactly is the budget here? i hear alot, but how much is that? are we talking 355 on 12lbs alot or 396 on 20lbs alot?

If you only run 12.3 then the other mods cant be that important. You better have a good set of heads and a big cam with your new gears if you wanna run way faster then 12.3

I ran a high 12 with just Longtubes, true duals, lid, CAI... and street tires. And I've got a 98', automatic no less.

How high in the 12's? That's pretty pathetic actually. This is about LT1s anyways, big difference.

a shot of nitrous might put me close to 11's dont know if i would be in them though...i need suspension work bad..so prob 12's....in my opinion after all the research i did..yank is the best followed by vigilante but i couldnt afford either...i went edge cause they are really knowledgeable..especially andre.....and at a good compromise...i paid 600 roughly for a custom vert with a 3200 stall and 2.45 ssr

My 97 auto ran a 13.4 with just long tubes, a tune, and a CAI. No drag radials, full race weight. I've added a bunch of ****, and taken off a lot of weight. I'm also spraying a 150 shot right now with 4.10 gears. 11's should be easy for me in the summer.

I ran a 12 flat with traction problems and i could have went high 11's with my '96. With a 503 and 125 shot of zex wet nitrous. I also had untouched stock heads (stock rockers), manifolds, and unported intake.

My brother and I did it on his 1994 Z28 convertable with Just 4:10 gears, tune, long tube headers, and pulley. Strait exhaust. No K&N 12.92Et. Last Sunday. 11.59et on Slicks 175 shot and a slipping, slow shifting transmission. Right tranny ...... 11.2's mayby. That was at a idle launch with spray and wheels lifting off the ground. 130,000 mile motor.
