tuning problems

tuning problems Well i recently got a tune from pcm forless it sucked so i called him on it and he basically blew me off and wouldnt respond to any of my emails. so i email mad z28 and tell him what happend and he sends me this email back
"Hello Chris,
with your setup, tuning should be straight forward. There should be nothing that could go wrong as far as tuning goes. The fact that Bryan's tune did not work properly, means that there could be something wrong on the car causing the tune to be off as well, in which case I cannot guarantee that mine will work either."
What could be wrong with my car? my car just went 13.2 @ 106 with a stock tune. I doesnt seem to be anything wrong with my car but i could be wrong. So what should i do?

The other PCM does have the correct knock sensor module installed, right?

PCM For Less sucks... I recently sent off my computer for tuning, and too my car had problems. They blew me off as well, I guess if your not Mario Andrete they won't listen to you. After all, they don't have a picture of us on their main page. What really pissed me off, was that I had to pay next day shipping charges (to and from back) sucks...I'll be looking for somewhere else to tune as well.

PCM for less is the best company ever. Alvin tuned my new engine perfectly and over-nighted the chip to me. Also btw sometimes you dont get the tune perfectly the first time. If you politely explain to him what is wrong he will try to fix the tune for you fast and free. Bad mouthing gets you no where. Plus im sure they are busy guys give him time to respond to your emails. If I owned a business and you told me I sucked i wouldnt put you on the top of my priority list either.

Sounds like a hardware problem. If you have access to a laptop, get Tuner CAT or LT1Edit, a cable, and then download the tune file to the PCM that works. I have a PCM I bought from a guy on E-Bay and it doesn't run well at all even with an identical tune.
