Default dyno numbers.. little low?

1995 Pontiac Trans Am Automatic
1.6 SA Roller Rockers with supporting LT4 Springs etc.
K&N Cold Air Intake

Air Foil
Hooker Long Tubes
Catted Y-Pipe
Hooker Exhaust
Electric Cutout
(ill find out if it makes any difference open or closed)
Transgo Shift Kit
2500 Stall
B&M Transmission Cooler
3.73 Gears
MSD Coil
Throttle Body Bypass
ICM cooling mod (mad horsepowers yooo!)
160* Thermostat
Two Point Subframe Connectors
Lower Control Arms
Relocation Brackets (will set to bottom hole at track)
ES Torque Arm Bushing
Adjustable Panhard Rod
275/40/17 Fuzion ZRi
Tuned by Madz28

Ill post a picture of the dyno when i get to a scanner but for now...

266 hp and 275 tq with the cutout closed
267 hp and 279 tq cutout open

SAE corrected .97%

that may be right for what I have but Im kinda dissapointed.. he also didnt do the thing where you bring it up to 50 and then stomp on it so it doesnt downshift (I heard thats what you do on autos). He said he was rolling on it so it wouldnt downshift

i highlighted the main points in my cars set up

That is a little low..was it a Dynojet Dyno? The Stall might be the one that is eating some of that up. Mine stock with a K&N Air Filter for 262/295 at the ground, A4 Car...

yea it was a dyno jet.. after a little math knowing the SAE correcting it comes out to

275hp and 287 torque

i was told if you divide the number by the SAE (.97 in my case) it gives you the real number.. i dunno thats just what i was told

That's the right way to do it..that sounds about right for a Stock Engine, the Cutouts and stuff like that become more effective when you start modding it.

Well, although some will disagree, I think you would benefit from boring out your throttle body. Mine woke my car up and I probably gained 15hp (SOTP testing). Plus, there is ~15% loss through the transmission (IIRC).

~15% loss through M6's, ~18%-20% loss through A4 Cars. Stalls will eat some more of it also.

If you divide it by .97 you get the actual HP #, but everyone goes by SAE so you made what it says on the graph. And dyno #'s really don't mean ****, go to the track to post times. Also cheap restalled converters hurt more than they help.
