Default Dyno #'s for my LE2 cam/stock head combo

This is copy/paste from my post over on CZ28.com

Got the car on the dyno, but I had a lot of problems on both runs. when we first tried to get a full run the tranny wouldnt come out of 1st gear, and then once we got the car into 2nd, 3rd gear wouldnt hold. Finally we got it into to stay in gear and let it rip. Well half way through the 1st run a rocker came loose, it wasnt real bad but you could definately hear it. We let the car cool down and see if the car would hold on for another run. well almost at the end of the last run 2-3 rockers came loose. the car sounded real ugly when we drove it off the dyno On the way home the car wouldnt shift at all, I went home in 1st gear. I've been having a lot of problems with my car lately, and I havent got my car running 100% yet. I still have to install the new fuel pump, 32# Racetronix inj. and finish up the heated O2 sensor conversion. Here's the #'s and a graph...

1st run was 347hp@6200 324tq@4700

2nd run 346hp@6000 325tq@5200

And now here's some vids:

Finally got the vids, first one is when the tranny wouldnt go into gear and dyno run was aborted. 2nd one is when we finally got the tranny to stay in
3rd gear, and the last is of my car when I pulled off the dyno. I dont know if you can hear the valves staying open once I try and park, IDK what it sounds like since I just got my digital cam back right now. seems I didnt delete that last vid from the cam after all.

excellent numbers! Very smooth curves too. Whoever did youre tune did a great job.

Congrats, that bird must pull like a ******!

And BTW, sounds like you got some tranny problems.
Get that A4 rebuilt with some performance hard parts and get back to us on the track results.
Love those rims too, cars looks very mean, with a great stance.

Good luck with the issues its having, and damn nice LT1.

Wow that's pretty wild, your rockers came loose! Do you have the locking type? Once you can get that thing up to 6500 rpm's that hp # will be much higher. I'm kinda in the same boat, trying to work out some minor issues since the build.

What's up with the A/F ?

Good numbers though, should be even better once you iron out the little issues.
LE2 on a 355 should pull towards 400rwhp even though an automatic.

What torque converter are you running?

The A/F is a little rich then leans out more than Id like it to once the converter locked up, after that it was pretty good til we let off. Alvin@pcmforless did the tune, and I havent had a problem with it, but it still needs a little work to improve drivability and get the A/F spot on at WOT. Im running a Hughes 3k converter, but by the looks of the power curve I might step up to a PI 4k and some 4.10's. Im guessing the tranny ate up some power cuz it was slipping really bad on the way home, so I NEED A NEW TRANNY . So far it runs decent but once I send Lloyd my intake, ditch the stock pump/inj and finish up the heated O2 conversion im shooting for 370 RWHP/350 RWTQ and 11's N/A.

James- the car has an LE2.2 cam but Im still running stock heads just to see how much power im leaving on the table. then when I max out the combo im getting some LE3 Trickflows .

vids should be working, I double checked them and they work fine on all my computers here at work. the vids are over 8MB so that might be a problem if your on dialup or on a slow connection.

You need some heads on that car man! Great numbers for the stock heads with an auto though, that car is really going to shine once some heads get on it

p.s

red 93 hard top power

Yeah I think the only reason it did well was because I have a "red 93 hardtop" LOL! but the heads will have to wait cuz I need a new tranny .

Oh and BTW fnslowZ the specs are . But for real though the LE2 cam is similar to the cc306 but should make more overall power if the car is setup correctly. obviously my car is far from optimized, but I should get the car back up with a new tranny, fuel system, and lots of suspension.

Need some LE2 heads. Nice cam only numbers. Tq seems little low for a cam'd LT1. I made 314-351 bolt ons........Sorry, just saw it was an A4...NEVERMIND VERY NICE for a A4
