Dealing with LS1 people..
ETP. Those are the ET Performance LS7 heads designed for the 4.0 bore. Expensive heads but when matched with a LS7 intake and 90MM TB it should out flow any other head/intake combo for the 416 L92 shortblock. [/QUOTE]
As the Saying Goes "I beg to Differ" The correct statement would be it should outflow any other 16 valve head/intake combo
I should have Dyno numbers in a couple of weeks, so I am not going to open a big can o worms about it right now

When it's all done it should walk a C6 Z06 as well. I can see that guy now..."was that a LT1?

They'll be like "I just got raped by a LT1 that sounds like a LS1! WTF"
I will likely be the first running LT1 with the 32V setup at the rate the other ones are going

I have seen the setup in person, sitting next to the factory LS7 race head. Both are beautiful. Things can't come fast enough, but all in due time I guess.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
There is one that just moved in down the street, I can't wait to get my LS2 in, and go down there and see if I can get him to play..
I don't win all my races but I do win most of them. I usually make 15 passes per visit and I average one loss every other visit. So I guess that means I win 29 out of 30
And thus far I am something like 6 and 0 vs. LT1's.
Let me try and explain how NYIRP works. They use lane 1 for bikes and sleds. Lanes 2 and 3 are for street tire vehicles. Lanes 4 and 5 are for any street vehicles using slicks. Lanes 6 and 7 I believe are for Jr dragstrers and gambler races. The other lanes are for the big dogs. Most of them are IHRA licensed, full cage, 9's or quicker, well I think you get the idea.
Right now I race in lanes 2 and 3 since M/T street radials are DOT approved. That means I race all the other brand X street cars on street tires/drag radials. You get everything in these lanes from mini-vans, pickup trucks, Mustang GT's, F-bodies, Vettes, Civics, ect. Now you would think some of these cars would be fast. But 95% are mid 13's or slower. 4% are low 12's-low 13's. And maybe 1% run in the 11's.
Now look at my vehicle. Stalled auto + M/T tires = very consistent. I run 12.3 - 12.5 on 99% of my runs. I also cut .500-.650 lights on 99% of my runs. When you consider all that I have posted here it should be pretty obvious as to why I win 29 out of 30 races.
But it does get very BORING. I want to lose some races or win by a fender sometimes. That's why I will get my IHRA license as soon as the new motor/N20 goes in. I want to race the single digit guys because many of them will be faster then me. I don't mind losing as much as I mind beating someone by 4+ car lengths race after race after race.
Look what I am dropping the LS2 into.. I am representin all of us, if anyone asks it's a LT1..

I will sit at the end of the track waiting for my *** beating
it was my understanding that an LS2 was a 4.0" bore,all-aluminum gen4 motor: front mounted cam sensor, side mounted knock sensors higher tooth count crank sensor, etc.
and what "LS2" parts of the fuel injection system are you using that are not just LS1 stuff?
I ask this, because I just got done helping a friend with an iron 408/L92/L76 setup in his 2000 SS.
we still call it an LS1 here in kentucky...
I have the complete LS2 Fuel Injection, Rails & Injectors, all ontop of the L76.
