Might not be able to run my car right now but I can put my bike out there. I think I will do ok. I have never ran a bike on a track before. It has a lot of power, it's a 2007 1200 Buell XB12Scg, my brothers car beat it,pretty lose race. I'll race him again when I get some work done to it. But lets just hope I dont embarass my self. This is my first Bike, but I have 1 dirtbike and have had many in the past. Way different from a motorcycle. Much rather be in my car.

Ran the Bike last night and well..... I think the Bike has more in it, i just have to keep practicing. I ran a best 7.82 in the 8th mile pulling the wheel up with a 1.91 60ft and a .5431 reaction time at 93.96 mph. i have a whole lot more to learn on the bike but it sure was fun. I will keep everyone posted on the motor build. I will also post specs on my LE4 cam.

Should run strong, my buddies le2 headed/le3 cam 355 with stock gears and a base tune went 11.70 at 121mph on the motor. You should have no problem going 126-127mph n/a if you can drive it and set it up correctly. Get the car hooking where it should be(mid 1.4x 60fts) and it should go mid 10's without a problem, then on the big shot low 9's IF you can get it setup correctly.

268/268 Duration with a 108 lobe separation
Degree on Cam: Vave open BTDC 12deg. - ABDC 48deg. Valve Close Intake side

Degreed at the crank.

Why so little lift, you sure thats right? You sure it's not .600/.600?

That's a wild setup, it should run strong both n/a and on the juice.

What is the most you have ever sprayed a car before?

is that the le3 you were going to use to start with?
is it a SR or HR? either way thats a big bump stick in the duration dept. like the guy above me asked why such low lift with LE 3 heads? theres so much more room for even more cfm with just a little more lift. for giggles if you want desktop dyno to put all your info into let me know. don't use it to make any choics or anything like that , just use it as a toy and see if it puts out the numbers that car ends up putting out. good luck nice to see you are almost done.

i hope 2 bolt mains hold for you , even studed with a 300 shot thats alot of pressure on those caps. i hope the crank doesn't walk on you much. also did you check that batch of springs you have to make sure they aren't in those batches that are breaking?(if they are comp cam 918's). later man and stop working so hard.

The studs are deep, i have seen an LT1 hold more than that. i know nitrous, especially that amount of a shot is equivellent to 20 sledgehammers being slammed on each piston at once but, i sprayed a 200 on it just fine with no signs of wear in the main caps at all with no arp bolts or studs. I know what I am doing, and so does my machinest. They build some of the most elite motors in Texas. He told me I would be fine, just dont detonate. Have it properly tunned for nitrous and have plenty of fuel and the right mixture of both fuel and nitrous and I will be just fine. Bring it on.

What kinda rpm's are you planning on turning on motor and on spray? I'd be worried with the 2 bolt main.

Not as much as a 355 LT1 thats for sure. I'm thinking peak power at 6,100rpms with a 396 mayby a little more. Keep in mind this is a professionally balanced 396 with hours upon hours of balancing.

What kind of shot are you guys running on your stock bottom ends? I ran a 200 shot for a long time with no signs of wear on a stock bottom end.
