Default Exhaust set up, will it work?

I've planned the parts for my exhaust, I've listened to sound clips and I've decided that this set up is close to what I'm going for. Just tell me if theres anything I could do better (less $$$ spent) or something.

Ceramic coated pacesetters: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Pacesetter Y-pipe: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

3in. in to 3in. out magnaflow cat: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Hooker aero chamber muffler 3in. in to 2 1/2 duals: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Think it will sound good?

Ok- If i were you- I would pass on the coated Pacesetter LT's. The Ceramic starts pitting in about 6 months.. I would reccomend sending them off somewhere. I had mine thermal coated at Pro-Kote Indy. They offer a life time warranty and only cost me $175 for the black thermal coating.
www.prokoteindy.com

I also reccomend buying the pacesetter Y-pipe. it's fit is so easy. Un fortunately I didnt buy it for my car and now i regret it.

However I do have the Hooker Aerochamber muffler and it sounds good.

so do you think i could just go with a used or painted set of pacesetters and just get them coated, problem solved?

Yeah probably. The better the condition of the headers when you buy them the less prep work there is in re-coating them so the cheaper the cost will be..
Mine were brand new, so they sandblasted them, then coated them.

and clear coated them for $175.

I have a "3 stainless steel magnaflow catback on my LT1, everything else on the car is stock. I'm not sure how it would sound with the headers and Y-Pipe, but I can tell you that I am dissapointed with the sound that it makes (very very quiet). On the other hand it's appearance makes the car look mean

thanks for the compliment on the hood.... as for the cat i think thats just a universal replacment cat... i dont think its a high flow becuase they usually will say high flow cat in the title or somehwere in the specs... there are other cats you can by tho... just look around if u want a high flow...

LOL, for some reason I was thinking the same thing today. When I got my car 4 years ago jethots were the ****. I'd buy them again too.

Btw, I love the way my hooker catback sounds.

Pace Setters are Cheap, they Fit well, and they produce good tq. Jet hots are nice headers, Kooks are AMAZING, and i dont think QTP has LT1 headers. NOt on there site anyway. I'd buy another set of pace setters if i was looking for bang for the buck. I wanna upgrade to Kook's.
