Default What does this code mean??????

Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction- P0100

I scanned my car and this is what came up

prob means you MAF is shot!

i would think your car will still start but it probably will just die as soon as it starts, or it will just run real rough.

Unplug the MAF sensor, and see how this affects the problem....and then post back up

oh maybe thats my problem. my car will start but then die right away. it runs pretty ruff when i can keep it running. could a bad EGR valve cause the same problems???

A bad EGR valve can cause it to stall on you too. As if the EGR valve is open at idle. But follow the MAF problem since you have a code, unless you know something we don't. Check your volts at the MAF connector. It's not 100% that the MAF could be shot. It could be the wiring. MAF's are too expensive to find out your's might be okay in the first place.

When i disconnected the maf the car fired up. then went to drive it this morning and the car fired up then shut off. I just changed the fuel pump also
