All Tech Guys, I Need Help

Hello everyone, I have a 93 TA with 75000 miles and it ran fine then all of a sudden it doesnt want to run right. There is a "mild" miss on the passenger side. I replaced the plugs and wires that didnt do it. It is running really rich. I changed the map sensor and replaced the o2 sensors. I had it diagonosed paid 150.00 for them to tell me there is nothing wrong with it. ALSO around 3800-4000 rpm it studders off the rev limiter. If i floor it it doesnt have much power but when it gets to that rpm range, it bounces of the rev limiter?? ( the rev limiter is at 5800) which i dont understand. If anyone can help with advise please let me know! thank you.

It sounds like something in your ignition. I'd change your coil and ignition module and if that didn't fix it, look at your opti.

Check the harness connector that runs along the passenger side of the intake manifold and then down and plugs into the Opti.

Sometimes being near the waterpump (and obviously the elements) the connector will corrode and cause some inexplicable ignition problems.

Double check that, it'd be a much easier fix for $40 - $60 compared to $300+
