i just put nitrous on my car and ran it a few times...my car n/a runs like 13.8s@98-100mph in the heat..with the spray..a 150 shot..its running a 13.4@110...idk why its not working...i have a fogger nozzel in the stock intake elbow...i have the bottle pressure up around 1100psi..everything works fine..plugs are gapped correctly..but the 2 time i ran the car it didnt really show a big improvment..what can cause this..or is the heat just killing me

you probably have something not hooked up correctly.. im sure someone with some experience in this will chime in soon. it could be that you jst have the wrong jets for the kit.

are you sure you're actually spraying nitrous when you hit the button? is it a wet or dry kit? sure you have the 150 jets in it?

Yeah I would take the line off the front of the solenoid and trigger it to see if it's squirting nitrous. Don't want to fill up the motor with nitrous and it not running cuz you'll have a time bomb when you start up!

its a wet kit..i have the rite jets...all the connections are right..and i feel the car move when i spray it...i still have the stock intake elbow..could it be that wen it sprays the nozzel moves and isnt going directly into the intake? or could i not have enough fuel pressure and im spray just nos?

Sounds like its working to me, 13.8 at 98 compared to 13.4 at 110, your MPH is there which shows its working, sounds like you have a traction issue or your not gettin out of the hole good enough. My car ran a 9.0 bone stock in the 1/8th, and a 9.4 full bolt one with a 150 shot....My mph was way up, but traction wasnt there and killed my time.

lol well that whole 2mph increase really doesnt seem fair for a 150 shot on a car running high 13s... i would have expected to be damn near 12s if i was him.. if not a high 12..

Yeah I just looked at ET on both accounts. ET doesn't tell the whole story. What's your 60' times with and without? Are you using a window switch or WOT, etc?

in the heat im anywhere from 2.10-2.30...the car dead hooks and the whole 1/8th is slow..im launching to hard so the car just dies..im spraying manualy off the wot switch..i dnt have the window switch..so im controlling it with the activation switch..i think the heat and the launch is just killing my 1/4mile...i have stock 3.23's and stock converter..so out of the whole takes off alot at top..in most case's...every 1 thousandth in the 60ft is 2 at the top

The nitrous is working fine, you can easily tell by the 12mph increase. What isn't working is your stock stall...you need to get an aftermarket one and you should look into some 3.73 gears.

Edit: Not to be an *** but 2.10-2.30 is a pretty horrible 60ft, that is why you have a crappy et and please tell me you have a real tune and not just the hypercrap for the spray...

Default Yep your NOS is workin

Definitely need to get rid of that stock stall and get lower gears 3.73's or higher and your ET will probably pick up a second.

Oh ok, what type of tires do you have on there? My car was practically tractionless until I got lower control arm relocation brackets, they made a world of difference. Ah good just making sure about the tune lol. It sounds like you just have a mismatched combo at the moment with the 3.23 gears and stock stall, take care of that and get 12s easily.

You need tires/stall badly.

Without a stronger rear and slicks higher gears will not do you too much good with nitrous. Will just spin up a smoke show if you spray off the line, and will give up potential gains if you spray later on.
