Default McLeod Bellhousing SFI for LT1??

Just got of the phone with Billy at McLeod, and he said that they just sent off a prototype lt1 bellhousing to be reproduced, yesterday. He said look for them around 6 months from now. They will be the same price as the old 8710-15, because it will replace the 8710-15. It will be a direct bolt in replacement, so No More Converting to ls1 push style.

This is real good news as the options available in the past for LT-1s were not very good. I'm pleasantly suprised to see companies still have an interest in the LT-1!!! What was the approx. cost of the 8710-15?

My buddy just bought a 8710-00 (ls1) from Thunder for 425.00, the 8710-15 in Jegs is 442.00

Figure some where around there

I've been waiting a long time for someone to make a direct LT1 bolt-on of a SFI rated bellhousing. I will definitely buy one.

Finally the LT1 crowd does not have to worry about missing legs/feet. I will be getting one as soon as they are test fit with long tubes. Great news

Pardon my ignorance, but what makes this bellhousing better?
