Tuning LT1 with Tuner cats

Tuning LT1 with Tuner cats Ok- last night i was readjusting a obdI pcm for speedo and tire size and speed limiter removal..
After we were done the RPM's stayed at zero, and the spedometer would spike and bounce around..
I re did the exact same thing 3 times and got the same results..
- Anywone else had this happen??
I am using Tunercats with an AKM ALDL-USB cable..

You mean- find someones Tuner cats OBDI LT1 file that has been set for a 4L60E and 3.42 rear gears?
I also did my PCM- on my 94 m6 car and set it for 4:10's that i just installed..
My tach works fine, but my speedo does the same thing that my buddies does..
Do you think something is wrong with my tuner file or are there other changes that need to be made instead of just running and applying the calculator in Tuner Cats?..
That sounds crazy. Couple questions.
Does your computer have a serial port? Or are you using a serial/USB adapter?
Have you tuned any other ODB1 cars, or is this your first one?
Theres known problems with the serial/usb adapters, if you're using one, I would suggest first thing to find an older laptop with a serial port, load your TC software on it and try that.
I use TC software all the time, and its pretty flawless. I wouldnt think its a software issue, but you never know. I would send an email to TC@tunercart.com. Hes very helpful and will usually be pretty prompt with a response.

Well- My car's issues have resolved themselves..- Everything is fine
Now as for the other 94 formula, It is still giving me problems.
We are going to download the pcm file from another Identical 94 LT1 formula and just load it to the one im messing with.
I am using Andrew's cable & usb stuff.. (akmcables.com)
And my car seems to be just fine....

shut it off, put in the drive shaft, let it off the jackstands and restarted it..
We got the 94 formula fixed too.. - something happened to his file last night when i downloaded it..- lots of things were F-ed up that I didnt even go into to change..- so i got the other file from another buddies 94 formula and brought it up and changed the gear ratio and then uploaded it to the PCM and it worked fine.. in fact- its like a 90% improvement from when it was stock w/ a 2.73 rear end..
