Im looking to buy a hood here in the next couple days and dunno what one i want. Im between the VFN SS, sunoco or 4'' cowl or a glasstek 4''. I dunno yet. Who has these hoods and can you post pics??? Thanks.

I always see hoods for the firebirds for sale, but never for the camaro. I like the sunoco much more than the others, though. You don't like the Ultra Z?

someone local to me was selling these hoods for 420 picked up.

i just gotta bring the front bumper up some more to line it to the hood i dont know how im gonna do that.

I like that hood. At least it gets rid of the stock "vents" unlike some others. Those just look like cheap add-on cowls.

in person it has that "sleek" look.

burnzilla's is nice but cant house a lid. or else i was going to get a VFN.

the hot air vents are also a nice addition on my hood.

Burnzilla's hood is by far the cleanest of the bunch IMO.

Leave the 4" hoods to those who can acually make use of them. If your sporting a 4" hood on a car thats not making the power to back it up your rice to me.

Typically I would agree with you, but I can also think they're ok if you have it for a reason, like a LS1 intake setup.

i deff. wanna do a ls1 lid conversion and i dont wanna hack up my raditor support eaither, so its usefull for that. But all in all, i keep goin back to the SS hood so im 99% sure thats the one im gonna get.

mines a 3"

and it does serve a purpose
