The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Tony.
Made a link on Vette forums, if this is gonna work we gotta pool together as many LT1 guys as we can. Some one needs to let the Impala guys know as well.
Make it midway between me and you and I'll be there!
And I live in FL of course.
Harold's got my heads done, just need to decide on whether to upgrade, or stay the same for now.
Tony S, shoot me your # in a pm again, I lost it and will probably have to keep tabs on this through you.

Fire67, Im going to give this thread some time to cure and then see what we have to work with, then post around on other forums. After that ill see what Scott at GMHTP thinks as well as some site sponsors.
Logistically, it's very difficult to do when people from all over the country have to converge at one spot.
What about several regional competitions to give most of the LTX cars out there a chance to participate? All events and individual set up's from each participant could be written about and appreciated by all. This could potentially provide the most informative and comprehensive article ever written to date on high performance LTX engines. GM High Tech could run a full story over several issues that highlights the latest and most successful combinations.
One central event is a GREAT idea, the practicality of it will unfortunately prevent many from taking part in it.
EDIT: I can assure you I have a magazine worthy LT1 set up and would definately show up if an event could be in Southern California. Please pass on the idea of a multiple event to the management at GM High Tech.

most of the fast cars are in the southeast anyways, with a few exceptions from cali, but they got money so they can drive their happy asses out here..
or Gainsville thats a nice *** track. If we want to go cheap it could be held in steele, AL
just my .02's
That is a great idea, the thing with GMHTP is they like it easy, if we could get camera/reports at say 3 events spread across the nation that would be our best option I agree.
The more we spread I think the less people will go, and how do we get track time when we have 20 cars? We literaly need 40+ to successfuly rent a track out.
I will convey this idea on though, any ideas are welcome guys, we are all in this.
Tony.
