National LTX Shootout
The location wont appease every ones individual wants, I would like to see one big national event. Just gotta weigh it out, get a feeler and move from there.

Far as boars go, CZ28.com, 'Tech, Vette forums and the major Impala forums all we need, no need to go post on smaller boards when most people read the major ones. But branching out to the other LT1 guys only helps for a larger event and makes things more feasible.

All I would need is advanced notice and some one with a local Nitrous station or better yet a N2O sponser

If everything goes my way in the next 3 or so weeks and the event is in Memphis or Bowling Green, that is do-able for me.

I will be their if its not to damn far and I have enough notice to get some time off from work. I'm in Maryland. I'm sure I could get a sponsor or two lined up if the event is a go. I will also hit up Scott at GMHTP I owe him an Email anyway. One thing you need to consider is the cost of the track St Louis is very expensive Memphis is reasonable. To make this legit we need 150 cars and that is hard to do these days especially when you only allow lt1s. I would love an LT1 only event but this will be tough to pull off.
Why dont we do a LT1 showcase instead of a LT1 showdown?

Get three passes or so, showcase the car, show the LT1 is not dead. I guarantee you, these cars are gonna raise some eyebrows

We are in. Location doesn't matter. We have been waiting for something like this since we started building this car. My only concern is when? I still have a few issues to work out and get licensed which should take place within the next month. Any ideas about a date?
