do you know what kind of crate motor you can get for 15 large? some people are ignorant. 450hp whoopty freekin doo.

and that crap about aluminum and nitrous. that dude needs to wake the fugup.

Just as a point of reference an LPE 383 package with Callies, Oliver, JE rotating assembly, CNC/hand ported LT1 big valved heads, double springs/titanium retainers, 58mmTB, 211/219 cam, etc, etc.. installed in the car with all the bolt ons and dyno tuned is $14,200...At least with LPE you know what you're getting...

yeah thats quite a bit high. and I doubt the 450 HP FLYWHEEL mark either. not with those heads/cam. maybe cnc ported LT4 heads. even then Id think the cam is too small to make that.

it does come with alot of bolt ons though.

My 5.7 lt4 and hotcam makes around 400 flywheel. How much was that golden 396 again?

what LT5
Lotus designed motor that started back around 1988 and came available I believe first in 1990, only ever in Corvettes. DOHC TPI-ish looking monster.
