How much would you pay for an OPTI???
I got one of them, It worked for about 500 miles then one day as I was driving down the freeway at 75 mph my car died, no warning, no sputter, It just shut off, Luckily I made it to the shoulder without causing a massive pile up. I cranked on it for a few minutes, nothing. I call my wife and tell her to come get me, 15 minutes later, It started up like nothing was wrong, drove it the rest of the way home and it shut off 5 feet from my driveway. Luckily I coasted it in, parked and promptly called All_Ignition. Well, needless to say, I now have a GENUINE ac delco unit installed and the All_Ignition unit is on its way back to All_Ignition for a refund! I got my new genuine ac delco from an ebay seller named "thepartsladi" , It came in a delco box and indeed was a delco part for $230 I think. Well there is my 2 cents on this subject.

Zones word of advice, just for safty....take the opti apart and put locktite on the rotor screws. i know you shouldnt have to, but rather be safe than sorry.

Yep, was on the way to the exhaust shop after the install and the engine siezed up. I dont know what to do with the damn thing now that i am not going back with a LT1, it was working fine.

Well, i was prolly going to sell the ported LT1 vette heads i have on it for 150$ starting out on Ebay i guess. I am going to prolly convert the intake to accept a rear distributor and use ither Megasquirt injection or TPI speed density. I guess ill sell the opti for 100$ so i am losing only 60 or 70. I will keep the pistons and rods for another engine. I will keep the roller setup for other engines, things of that nature. Sad the heads are fresh and have prolly 15 miles on them.
