Default Weird noise coming from drivers front wheel?

Ok well before I had warped rotors on the front of my car and I changed them out last weekend and now the brakes work flawlessly. But before I changed my rotors/pads there was always this noise and it would happen every revolution of the wheel. So I figured it was probably the rotor rubbing on something bein warped. Well now I have good brakes on and it still makes that noise. It sound like the noise your shoe makes when its wet and you turn it on a hard floor like that kinda squeak noise not a metal on metal squeak. Any ideas? I'll try to get a vid soon but I'm at college and don't have a camera

errr... Id check your dust shield make sure thats not hitting anything. You coulda bent it when you changed your brakes. Also, check your suspension parts (ball joints, tie rod ends). make sure they have no play

he said it made the noise before the brakes, but that doesn't rule out that it may be the dust shield. have a friend drive the car at idle through the parking lot and you walk beside it and look real close. that helped me and my brother figure out his wheel issue (loose lugs)

Mine cricks. Not creeks or cracks or pops, but cricks lol But mine we're pretty sure is the lower control arm bushing being shot. Happens at random but mostly after going around a left hand turn.

could be a hub, but usually you get a roaring noise from a bad hub bearing...

If the noise changes / goes away when you turn the wheel (to the L or R), then its the wheel bearing. It's a sealed unit - 4 bolts.

$160 at Autozone / Advance /etc...

I did it w/ hand tools (my compressor is not hooked up at my new house yet) - start to finish including: jacking up the car, pulling the wheel, cleaning and putting away all the tools used = 45 minutes!

To quote ALF - "No problem!"
