Default is deltec ign. good for h/c cars

is the deltec ign. system any good because i am getting very tired of the old opti. and will it work well with a built -h/c car /possibly stroked if not what do you suggest cause my as delco just went out and it only has about 10,000 miles on it car is shooting a code 36 and 42

my delteq system is awesome! the z doesnt miss at any rpm.. i have had it out of gear and taken it up to 5500 and there wasnt any backfire.. only paid 350 for a used system on here and it works perfectly

IMO I would go with the LTCC over the Delteq based on features.
Really though if you are having that many opti problems either there is an outside cause or you are doing something wrong.

Well you're still going to have to get a new opti to use the delteq, but yes it would work just fine with a h/c car (or any setup really).

I have had much better luck with an Opti then with the Delteq

Ask 'PEPE' about the LTCC

Come to think of it I am not sure anay of the fast guys with stock PCMs are running any thing other then and Opti

itll work just fine. and i agree that people who have multiple opti problems are having because of outside stuff thats going wrong. ive had two both with over 100k on them and they work to this day fine. i use it on my 383 and the hot cam motor with zero issues.

I hear mixed responses about Delteq and LTCC. My opti is currently out on my car and I've been neglecting it for quite some time now because I'm not sure which route is the best. The engine is in pristine condition with no h2o pump leaks and I'm on my 3rd opti. And this opti went out with all of 10 miles on it. I literally drove it down the street, put it on the trailer, took it home, then nothing when I got home to start it off the trailer. Any thoughts?
