Taner looks like we agree on most every thing
For those thinking it is to far to drive beg borrow or steal(borrow) A TRUCK AND TRAILER! This race is going to cut into my budget pretty hard so no new trailer for me. I do not have one so I will being doing the beg and borrow thing myself. Lets not even mention how much it is going to cost in fuel and lodging.
Which brings up the steps after we aquire a date
finding a Place to party . . .er I mean stay durring the race.
I like the four classes you have there. Lets roll with them. In the bracket classes, should we go with the three pass fixed dail? Makes it all honest and fair

[QUOTE=taner]I like the idea of the cruise class, that takes a little more organization, i would prefer to run that class, why not make it like Hot Rod Pump Gas Drags, where everyone runs the same fuel and makes the cruise, 3 passes and best average wins. no popping hoods or messing with the cars. or screw the pump gas, as that would take way too much effort to monitor, etc.....
by having 4 Q8 classes i think that caters more to the variety of cars we will see run at the track. this way there can be 4 winners instead of 2, and it should make for tighter racing. ie. outlaw 8 power adder, outlaw n/a 8, quick 8 power adder, quick 8 n/a. then have 2 bracket classes 12.99 and quicker and 12.99 and slower.[QUOTE]
I say no pump gas rule. 12.8:1 comp here. I like those 4 classes. The quick 8 classes may need to be quick 16 depending on turn out. I would hate to drive 8 hrs and not even qualify for a heads up class.

It cruises just fine at highway speeds..and doesn't use a drop of gas. I will be running Outlaw. we need more cars for this one. I thought we would have at least 8. I'm thinking a few guys that would have ran Outlaw are going for th PA class you guys that can run 8s or low nines better be in Outlaw or we may have to make a breakout on the PA class.

J/KI just don't think my car will be fast enough for outlaw at all so I put down P/A. We are still running a 4L60E but have a Trans brake full race TH400 on stand by

I have single solenoids.

but I still plan on running Outlaw.

That may be a possibility.
