93 LT1/95 LT1 cam differences?

Well I think, all you have to do is pound in the dowel. Then again, it might be it NEEDs the dowel There's also the duration and minor lobe change. I can't remember, but I thought the 93s had the better cam, I'm probably mistaken though.

i have the specs for 94-95 lt1 and 96 lt1. i don't have 92-93
94-95lt1;
203-208 @.050 450-460 w/1.5 480-491 w/1.6 116 ls
96lt1;
205-207 @.050 447-459 w/1.5 477-490 w/1.6 117 ls

Cam fits right in. The 92-94 LT1 uses a short dowel pin. The 95-97 LT1 uses a longer dowel pin to drive the opti, unlike the earlier splined drive that sat in the center of the cam gear.
