Default Weird!!

I just went outside 20 min ago to let the car warm up, for about 5 min before I go into work, which is where im currently at. Pull into dunkin donuts to grab a coffee on the way and shut the car off because they cant hear me over the intercom when the car is running, and start it back up and it doesnt want to idle? WTH!! I have to keep my foot on the gas in order for it to idle correctly. Once I leave my foot off, it drops to about 4-500 rpms and then dies, everytime. I limped it here to work, but what do you all think it could be when I take a look at it in the morning?

Fuel pump or maybe filter? Check the filter first, easy fix there

Fuel pump is relatively new....the filter however is due for a change....but i dont believe its that. It has power, but doesnt idle

Mine had a similar problem. I just cleaned my TB out and changed the fuel filter. Just after cleaning the TB it ran way better.

I'm gonna say its your IAC, my car would die at stop signs when my IAC went out.

Thanks for the comments!

Anyway, when my IAC went bad it never gave me any sign of going out. Car never acted up or anything. But one day it just dies while coming to a stop at a stop sign, it started back up but wouldn't stay on because the idle would drop and it would die. It did this at every stop sign and light until I got home. I cleaned it and it worked but I replaced it anyway just for a piece of mind.

When's the last time you cleaned the TB? Sounds like your problem to me.

im going to put money on the IAC going bad, just because if the vacum line would be off, it would still be doing it.
