Default Track results...stock heads/cam T76

Finally got to hit the track yesterday for the first time with this setup, the tune is still VERY conservative with only 15 degrees of timing and a 11.2 afr(11.8 in top of 3rd when the maf maxes out). I was pulling 6lbs in 1st and 2nd, and peaking 8lbs toward the top of 3rd gear.

Quick rundown on my setup...

9.5:1 355
stock crank
eagle rods
wiseco pistons
STOCK heads
STOCK cam
STOCK intake
STOCK throttle body

1.6rr's
stock th400 with a 4000 nitrous converter(not a good setup for the turbo)
3.42's
stock chrome wheels with 28x11.50x16 et streets
qa1's, bmr lca's, and bmr tq arm
Realquick's hot parts
Turbonetics T76 q trim ball bearing .81 ar
44mm wastegate
Joe P MBC
RFL bov
FMIC
All coldside piping custom done by me
42lb injectors(maxed out)
stock maf(maxed out)
Tuned by myself

I drove to the track, on 91 pump gas, didn't adjust my air pressure or any of my supsension either, just ran these times.

First pass I left off idle, just barely preloading the suspension.

1.76 60ft
7.42 1/8
95.4 1/8
11.49 1/4
120.93 1/4

Second pass I foot braked to about 2800(nitrous converter is tight), and launch with about 4" of vacuum since I couldn't build any boost.

1.63
7.26
95.69
11.32
121.39

Third pass, I pulled the ebrake and built right at 1lb of boost

1.56
7.15
95.77
11.21
121.24

Fourth pass, pulled the ebrake again, built right at 1/2 lb of boost

1.58
7.15
95.89
11.21
121.67

Final pass, pulled the ebrake again, got 1 lb of boost, but the track had gone away so I spun

1.63
7.27
96.05
11.33
121.39

Here's a video of my first pass and my 3rd pass, sorry I didn't edit them at all, just uploaded real quick since my laptop is having problems.

Megasquirt and bigger injectors will go on soon, 10's on stock heads/cam and on pump gas won't be a problem at all.

Wow thats definatly alot faster than I thought a stock heads/cam setup would run on 8lbs. What was the raceweight? Congrats on the shakedown passes.

Thanks, but this is all Justin. Good example of what happens when you know how to set your car up to race!

Great results happen with people that know what they are doing. He had a nasty heads/cam/nitrous setup, now he is working on a badass turbo setup. He could push hard for a 9.9xx on stock top end if he ups the boost/timing. For now he will be happy with mid 10's and sounding stock... until he steps on the gas

When I had the nitrous setup it weighed 3520 with me in it, I'd guess it would weigh about the same. I'll hit the scales soon again to see what it weighs.

Funny, I was going to put some good heads and a custom cam in it, but I don't think I am for awhile. I think I'm going to build a badass fuel system instead and run some good gas and see how far I can go on the stock heads/cam.

Awesome times - one question though - did the formula come with the stock th400 or is that from another car? Thought they had 4l60es?

It came with a 4l60e, I had a BUILT th400 in it and it let go two weeks ago, so I picked up a stock th400 for $250 and threw in it to hold me over until I can build another one. It shifts SO SOFT.
