Always good for a laugh. The idea behind it is pretty cool. It's much like communism...looks good on paper but doesn't really work. I'd be tempted to try it just for fun if I could figure out how to set it up with the WS6 ram-air setup. His ad states that it produces 2-3psi of boost...I don't know much about superchargers, but I'm sure it doesn't work. I know a running joke in a lot of auto forums is the electronic superchargers like that one. But hey, it works on scooters so it must be good, right?
What if you put 3 together? That'd be good for 6-9psi of boost...damn...

Lol I cant believe that guy is still making a killing on those POS's.
A stock cube LT1 with a modified intake can breathe in over 700cfm at ~6k rpms. Since these do not actually compress incoming air, and just blow into the engine like a fan, to make any boost the blower has to at minimum keep up with the engines intake flow rate - and to make positive boost it must flow more. Increase the cubes and the air needed at WOT increases too. Wanna know the size of most common 800cfm+ electric blowers? 8" inlet/outlet, plus they draw around 2 amps.
That tiny little 3" thing on 12volts will not flow anywhere near enough to keep up with a bone stock LT1, and will actually hurt power since it just becomes a huge restriction after the filter.
Electric "superchargers" may work in some cases, but this is not one of them. A scooter and a z28 are two very different things

^^Yep at least. And the "special chip" will also make your m6 shift smoother.
I can't wait for Christmas! I put 2 superchargers and a chip on my list! I wonder if they have any stickers that will help with performance like the honda guys have?
