Default My winter work thread. 95 TA, lots of pics!

All the holes weleded shut, bondo'd and sanded...

Bought some WS6 rims... One was bent in a wreck though i need 1 more!

AC was deleted a long time ago, time for the box to go!

First coat of POR15

Reworked harness. All the wires run along the passenger side. I'm drilling a new hole in the firewall for the harness to go through and the PCM will be where the pas. airbag used to be.

Some wireloom. I still need to solder a few things.

My friend Adam and I

Relocated the alternator.

Nah I love my T56 haha. I love rowing gears, and I just rebuilt the trany and put a new clutch in it anyways! If I went with an auto it would be a 4l80E. Mayby in another car...

Looks good. Doing anything else to the motor?

On a side note, that kid TOTALLY looks like an import owner too. You should edit his monkey *** out of the pic! It makes your Firebird feel bad.

Motor isn't really getting anything. I got the right pickup for my melling HV oil pump so Im gonna put it on, and get a new pan gasket since mine has a small leak. Cleaning it up a little from when it got armorall allover it from spraying it ALLOVER my sqeaky belt haha.

LOL I read that part to my friend haha.. Don't hate the import owners cause there slooowww haha JK. Nah he hung with me, I was pulling but it definately wasn't much. Him and an Evo I raced were the closest races I've had. It's basically a stock motor with ARP head studs and a Gt35R.

But anyways back to drinking beer ha! I'm gonna work on it a bunch tomorrow I'll try and throw up some pics!

Cleaned up the T56.

Cleaned up the motor. Getting new valve seals, pan gasket, and intake gaskets.

Emblems and trim gone.

Found out my drivers side quarter is Bondo'd to all hell. I thought it was a little rust bubble but it was bondo not rust beneath it.

POR15.

Parts trailer

Should have left the wing on! lol

Is this the 5 o-clock free crack giveaway?

Time to call it a night, it's only 2am hah.

$40 a pint at a local place. Better deals can probally be found online. I did 2 coats on my engine bay and 2 on my suspension parts and have over 1/4 pint left. I would have more than half left but the first coat was with a horrible old spray gun and 90 percent of it was overspray. It would go even burther if I brushed it on but that's to time consuming for the amount of stuff I'm coating.

Wow you're probaly the first person on LS1tech besides me and my buddy that know where Hermitage is haha.

Are you out there much? I don't think I have ever seen your TA. What color was the 2g? The only 2g that really rolls around hermitage is my friend Matt and it's red. Can't think of any other 2gs around. If it was red and auto it was him.

You got any plans to go to the LTx shootout? I'm trying to get a convoy from the East.
