[QUOTE=95 Formula;8418879]I say all the rules should have been left alone..but I guess certain cars get preferential treatment.[/QUOTE
I also thought that in the beginning and even angrily posted the same sentiments. BUT, then I thought about it... I WAS WRONG, ESPECIALLY when I insulted Mario. Outlaw should mean OUTLAW. Any set-up should be acceptable as long as the engine is an LT1.
Caveat...I'm not running Outlaw so my comments don't mean squat.

Car count in pre-registration is low, lots of emails, and ideas from other races led to the rule amendments. I really did not want to change them either but had to for the success of the event.

I think the rule changes will help this event and future ones too. A 23* head is a 23* degree head. I also like the weight penalities. The fact that a nitrous car gets the break may help level the field. I do beleave some cars will come in below the min weight limits. Some people will do as much as they can to make a car quicker which may mean losing the comfert items. Otherrs can afford to build up the motor with more expensive and lighter parts. This does not bother me. Look at what Andy KatZeles 10.8's on a stock motor (i'm not sure what he weighs but that is how he did it)
Thanks again to all of the people that agreed to making the changes.
