Default TB Coolant Bypass hose size.

What size connector will I need to bypass the hoses for the coolant on the TB? Im just going to connect the 2 together under the throttle body...

Im kinda confused by all the pictures that show what hoses to connect where. IDK why, but im just confused rofl. someone help me or just tell me the hose size so i can connect em thanks!

u got to by a plastic 5/8 connector i believe bro with 2 good ol clamps

The throttle body bypass always confused me also, but once you look at it you realize there isn't much to it. I just realized you have a '96. The process may be different than my '94, and maybe not so simple.

i could tell u some pretty nasty tricks for that car that dont cost much or that are free, hell im trying to learn the high dollar **** now lol!!!

That is everything you need!..........Jus realized that yours is a 96 and that says for 93-95, but that is the general idea! hope it helps!

Do the coolant ports on the throttle body have to be capped? I did this over Christmas, without really planning to do so, and we didn't cap those ports. No air can enter the intake through those, correct?

No, once the ports on the TB are re-routed, there will be nothing going through them. So you can just leave them open. There won't be a vacuum leak or anything (since no vacuum was going through it). If there IS one, then the gasket for the bottom plate is bad and it's sucking air from the IAC part.

im sure with 3100 post u know the same **** i do as far as free mods, i was just trying to help the guy out we have all have been there before new and not knowing what the hell to do to our cars. But im glad we have alot of smart asses in here that way my day isnt to boring.

That and it cleans up the Lines a little bit. Also, I cut off the Hose ends under the Throttle Body there, cleaned it up. You don't necessarily have to cap them off, they lead no where, just there to warm up the TB.
