Have you verified your fuel pressure? Sounds like maybe the pump is going out. It could also be that $500 paperweight you have for a discriminator!

So when it runs good there are no problems? and then when you get all over it then it starts to sputter and die... then it won't start? so then do you le5t it set until it will start? (how long).

so you did check your fuel pressure (41 or 42psi) does it hold the pressure when its shut off?

I had the same exact problem. It would crank and run and then it would shut off. Found out that the car would loose spark after a little bit. If I would let it sit it would regain spark. So, I replaced the opti and fixed the problem. For you it may be a different story considering you have a MSD. Uh. I don't think the 93-97 camaro haynes repair guides have a opti spark test section. I got mine out of a 92-97 corvette haynes repair manual. It give a detailed summary on how to diagnose the ignition issue. Hope this helps.

I think the easiest thing to do first would be to actually put a fuel pressure guage on there see what psi it is when it is doing this. Then actually pull a plug and see what kind of spark (if any) you are getting when it is doing this, that way you know which direction to go for the diag on it.

Could also be your ICM. This is a "COOL" mod and works quite well.
