Question E-Cutout Switch Location

Where have ya'll mounted your Electric Cutout Switches, Need it somewhere easily reachable without being in the way. Doesn't have to be this switch, but need a nice looking location.

Also, a beer bottle coozie works good as a faceplate holder if you've lost the case. Just a thought.

You can buy a cutout on basically any online parts store. WS6Store has 'em. If you don't mind reaching under the car and undoing 3 wingnuts, you can save yourself a decent amount of money by not getting an electric one. Not quite as convenient though.

i'v always thought about making a plate to cover the cubby hole area, and putting 4 switches across from each other on it too. I think it would look

Yeah, I really thought about deleting my cig lighter and putting the little switch there if the hole was the right size. I really want to relocate my cig lighter anyways, I want to move it and add one more, I use mine as a power port anyways. So now I gotta find a spot to locate two power ports (cig lighters).

The only thing I noticed about putting it in the ash tray or around the cig lighter is that I'd have to reach around my shifter to get to it. I have a T-handle shifter so that little area is kinda hard to reach. I kinda thought about putting it on the side of the cup holder, facing the inside on the flat wall by the ebrake. My thumb kinda naturally lays there and there is plenty of room on the inside by the ebrake to run wires and for the switch. It would be out of the way and if I ever put a cup in there it shouldn't come close to touching it.

try removing the rear defrost switch and putting it there? or taping the rear defrost sw? I want to say I heard of a guy that used the rear defrost to arm/disarm the line lock on his 2000 Camaro, so when you looked in the car you never saw anaything that the factory did not place there,

^ I don't have rear defrost, but I do have a new hatch with it though, may install it before next winter...

I already installed my switch, I put it right under the cig lighter. Looks fairly good there, and ofcouse I broke the little clip off the damn panel when I was taking it out.
