Default Removing A/C Condenser

Well if the title didn't give it away im planning on removing the a/c from my '95 camaro. The compressor looks pretty simple to remove. I already have the delete pulley i got from the dealer i work at so im good there. I was just wondering if you guys have any tips on removing the condenser. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ummm unbolt the lines that go to it and viola you take it out. It's not too hard just takes a little cursing. Now getting the lines that go from the compressor to condensor and vice-versa are ridiculous, have fun with those. All in all you are gonna have bruised knuckles.

That's it, it is a pita, but fairly simple. Make sure all the lines are disconnected, the top air dam is off and get a good hold of it from the front- then it should come off. Really the hardest thing was getting my hand around to the A/C compressor and yanking the lines out

Sounds like it just takes a little patience and small hands. If thats the case i should be alright. Im also going to put it up on a lift for better access underneath.

Good idea, b/c that way you don't have the wrong angles I did just having it on jackstands. Have fun and don't forget to plug the holes in the evap block the the lines leave or you'll have goop running outta them.

Once the condenser is removed, you may want to install some aluminum spacers to duct the air and prevent an air leak. The photos tell the story.
