Default Nitrous on LT1

Now i know i just put my car up for sale, but if it doesnt sell then i wanna do something fun with this thing tired of just being in the 11s and dont wanna really spend a **** load more money into this thing. I heard LT1s Love nitrous one of the best motors that can handle it. Now, here is my issue my 396 is 12:1 compression and for my understanding that is kinda high for nitrous any ideas with that kinda compression, would a 100 shot really hurt it ?

Nitrous loves high compression, I don't think a 100 shot would do much if any harm. But I'm a newb to nitrous so don't take my advice.

Like said nitrous loves compression and I'd go for a 150 shot over that 100, the car will take it.

Im just saying that you should run atleast a 150 shot with a built bottom end if stock bottom ends are taking them.

They hit it on the head nitrous and compression work well together, however I do not see what kind of piston you are running. Be weary of spraying a hypereutectic piston they have too much silicone in them and will grenade.

this is way off topic, but why does everybody call their 383 and 396 motors "strokers"? we all know that you didnt just bore it to get those cubes lol

Depends if wet or dry etc. etc. and condition of your motor. Depending if you go wet or dry you may need to get bigger injectors and fuel pump.

I ran 150 shot on my car for about 65,000 miles when the car was stock, and I am still running a 150 shot with a stock bottom end now. you would be safe with a 100 shot. If I were you make sure its a wet kit.

If there is something wrong with the motor dont do it. N2O will find anything wrong or weak and make it worse. but racing will too. LOL. If you do have a nice running motor you should be good to go.
