^wow that idle is really dropped makes the little hotcam sound more like the cc306.

With that hp goal, yes, you will need at least a cam swap. Since you're there, springs/rockers too. A 52mm TB is more than adequate. Then you'll definitely need a tune. Good luck.

Don't waste your money on a larger throttle body. The stock one is good for 500 HP. The LT4 valve springs and retainers are a good upgrade for a stock cam LT1.
